Izanolihle Roads

A live road-maintenance site that proves its capability with a dated, photographed project record and the plant it runs, and gives tender teams a page of their own.

Live Izanolihle Roads homepage capture dated 12 October 2026: road maintenance, surfacing and plant hire in white and amber type on graphite, beside two crew members on a Caterpillar asphalt paver.

The need

Show a municipal evaluator, a main contractor or a private client what Izanolihle Roads does and can prove, from its own dated project records and photographed plant, and give each of them a clear way to ask for a quote or for tender documents.

What I made

  • Responsive website design and build
  • Website visual system around the company’s own logo
  • A project-record format with timestamped photographs
  • A searchable plant catalogue, a procurement page, and an enquiry form for quotes and tender requests

Design decisions

Design decisions

  1. 01

I led the homepage with the company’s own crew on its asphalt paver and a plain statement of the work, and put the dated project record directly beneath it.

  2. 02

I gave each project a record: date and place, the traffic accommodation as photographed, and every photograph with the time the camera stamped on it. Registrations and client names appear only when the company supplies and approves them.

  3. 03

I set the company’s own logo on graphite, with amber used as a road marking, and added a procurement page that asks for the bid’s requirements rather than claiming eligibility for any tender.

In detail

In detail

Detail of the live Izanolihle Roads homepage: Two failed patches, one lane, traffic kept moving, with four camera-stamped photographs of the 15 April 2026 repair at 10:43, 10:48, 11:20 and 12:11.
The project record: one day’s repair as a sequence of photographs, each with the time the camera stamped on it.
Detail of the live Izanolihle Roads homepage: The machines, photographed, showing an asphalt paver, a tracked excavator, a wheel loader, a motor grader and two rollers with their makes.
The plant, photographed: every machine listed is one the company has a photograph of.

On a phone

Someone checking a contractor between sites needs the proof close to hand: on a phone the quote button sits in the first screen and the dated project record and plant follow directly.
